Legacy Compatibility Notice

Running INSTANT Song Presenter 4 on Windows 7 & Vista

To use legacy INSTANT Song Presenter 4.x on Windows 7 or Vista, you must grant Administrator permissions to the install directory (typically C:\Program Files\ISP 4) and launch the program as an Administrator due to User Account Control (UAC) constraints.

Option A: Folder Ownership

If granting rights inside Program Files fails, move the entire ISP 4 directory to the drive root (C:\ISP 4).

Option B: Permanent Admin Mode

Configure the executable properties to "Always run as Administrator" or adjust local UAC system policies.

Recommended Upgrade: Upgrading to INSTANT Song Presenter 5 or newer removes all legacy UAC workarounds and provides native Windows 10/11 support.

Presentation Tips & Tricks

Enhance your live song presentation workflow

Tip 1 Live Performance

A Big Finish

If you are displaying a song that repeats the final line at the end, you can emphasize that line each time it is sung. Use the Song Title field to store an enlarged line of text.

How it works: In the Add/Edit a Song screen, replace the text in the Song Title field with whatever text you wish to emphasize. In Display Mode, press the - (MINUS) key to display the title text centered in a larger font size.

Update for ISP 6+: INSTANT Song Presenter 6 and 7 feature a built-in Tag Line button, automatically displaying the last line of the active Verse or Chorus in enlarged bold text with a single click.
